Qualifications

Fulbridge Social Care is committed in supporting and developing its workforce and provides candidates the information required to undertake sector specific qualifications such as the QCF Diploma for Residential Childcare in their own time through national providers.

Introduction

The QCF Diploma for Residential Childcare is a nationally recognised qualification. This qualification will improve the quality of care provided to vulnerable children and young people in residential childcare by guiding and assessing the development of knowledge and skills.

The Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare (England) is specifically designed for learners wanting to work in residential care with children in a care role. New residential care workers will need to achieve the qualification within two years of employment.

Throughout this course, you will be assessed through numerous methods to help you complete the course quickly and easily. Assessment methods used will be written assignments, witness testimony of tasks completed in a workplace, direct observation, professional discussions and work evidence.

This course can be obtained via student loan or direct purchase and can be completed within 6 months.

Entry Requirements

Learners must ensure that they have the potential and opportunity to gain the qualifications successfully.

This course is open to candidates of 18 years and over. You must be working or volunteering in a care setting.

Time Scale

You are required to complete this qualification within two years of the start date.

Progression

On completion of this program, candidates can progress on to Leadership and Management Qualifications.
